Gas prices

Show of hands - How many filled up last night in expectation of the prices skyrocketing this weekend?

I filled up my Probe (which runs on premium), but it was pegged on empty. And luckily we didn't need to fill it the last few weeks when prices were outrageous, so it has yet to see a gallon over $3.00 in its tank. But then again we had to get it to the shop for new tires, and next the bro is putting new struts on it for me.

Been driving the Altima (our craptastic car) which takes the 87 octane for the past few weeks.

It's nice not having a car payment since our newest car is 10 years old, but then again something is always getting fixed.... but as long as we keep them away from dave's stepdad they fare better - LOL...

I'm trying to get Delaney's garb done in time. I have given up on garb for myself this year. Maybe I'll have it done in time for our trip to PARF on Oct. 15.

Nope... filled up yesterday because I needed to ... or maybe it was the day before... can't remember for certain now, think it was Wednesday...

Keeping fingers crossed. That fill up was $48, as I hadn't gotten around to it for almost a week and the van holds and uses a lot.

Uh, I think it was Tuesday.
I slipped into the Amoco/BP and the gas was $2.79 for premium. For some reason it took about 15 minutes to pump the gas as it dispensed so slowly. My car only takes premium as well. I usually run the tank pretty low but these days I've been making sure to fill up when I am around a lesser expensive station. My Subaru gets pretty good gas mileage though. I wish it were better than 22 mpg, but hey, it could be worse.
