Just got a new bedframe - it arrived just before Xmas. Ordered it in NC when we were down there on vacation - Mahogany 4 poster. Ordered a new boxspring/mattress last week, and ordered a new comforter with matching curtains today. Did I mention we're doing the master bedroom purple & gold? We will be sleeping in our own "big people" room (currently known as the cats' room) soon. The rugrat will have to sleep in her room by herself.

That and weaning her this month, her 1st bday last week, her walking, and converting her exersaucer from infant to toddler mode - she's gonna be a big girl now - "so big". Btw here is the baby monthly update: She is currently into the stacking cups, the put the blocks in a cup and take them out again, the stacking donuts, and putting stuff in stuff and taking it back out again these past few weeks... I'm just so amazed at everything she learns to do everyday. And since she got over that cold the week of Xmas, she's been sleeping through the night like a champ. Uninterrupted sleep is wonderful!!

And at daycare, she's been visiting the 1 yr. old room (vs. the infant room) the past few weeks and will be moving over soon - where did my baby go? And she's working on blowing kisses and raspberries she does way too much of, especially when she has a mouth full of milk. Well she blew daddy a kiss when he left for work this morning. And that was after daddy tried to zap her nose off - he went to give her a kiss and the static charge zapped her nose and she screamed. Of course when I went to turn off the television and the cable, they majorly zapped me. Oh well we are the static family - you should see our hair today - we both have major static going on..
