"Those expecting a tax refund plan to pay down debt, take a vacation or buy that plasma TV."

That was the title of an article on cnn.com I noticed when surfing the headlines for news today.

And I thought does that describe us? Exactly!

We’re gonna pay off all our credit cards, go to Daytona (Disney) on vacation, and we just bought that new TV last month (It’s not a plasma, but it is a LCD/widescreen projection)! Damn I guess we are just as ordinary as that next family down the street. And I guess using part of it for buying curtains is pretty ordinary too.

I think the only thing slightly unusual thing we're gonna spend some of our $$ on is more garb - this time more "Colonial" garb.

Anyone else getting a refund and NOT spending it on paying off debt, taking a vacation or a new TV??? anything unusual?

What a coincidence! I'm also gonna pay off all our credit cards, go to Daytona (Disney) on vacation, and we just bought that new TV last month (It’s not a plasma, but it is a LCD/widescreen projection)!

Damn, but it's a small world (after all).

well, we owe this year (not surprising as my planning out the W-2's got mucked up by refinancing (again) and cyd holding 2 jobs at once for a month or so.

so no surprise prezzies, as such. however, we do have some bonus cash to spend...

...on paying off debts. Its paying for the trip to england/wales (which we've already bought the tix for).
