Daughter's Birthday

dreamaastridI'm leaving work early today to pick up her cake at the bakery. And we decided to just have a little Bday celebration -just the 3 of us. She was so wore out from Xmas and of course has yet another cold so isn't quite herself this week.
But the Bday girl’s morning was already eventful. This morning I put her in her exersaucer to do a few things and when I went back to fetch her she had snot from her eyebrows to her chin and was rubbing it in with the back of her hand all over - yuck!!!
She's getting two things from us - a really cool pelican stuffed animal (it comes with a shrimp, octopus, crab and fish, that the pelican can eat and you see them appear in his belly – then LO can pull them out and put them back in again) and also bucket of vehicles (car, train, plane, trailer, boat, etc). Since she got zillions of things for Xmas we thought keeping her Bday celebration small would keep us all sane.
And besides we'll see the entire family for New Years Day so I'm sure she'll get more Bday presents from everyone.
