Strange Dream Last Night
Dec. 16th, 2004 10:22 amOkay I'm wearing my colonial garb walking thru a building at Penn State York. I'm carrying my books and I'm leaving to go outside, walk across campus and then drive to the Harrisburg campus. Why I'm in my colonial garb? Don't know..
But once I get outside and have to walk across a bridge across a marshy area (kinda like the bridge at the Baltimore Zoo thru their marsh) the Penn State Lion and Lion Trainer are there. The Lion is however an male African Lion with the big mane - not the typical Nittany Lion that you see pictured. Anyway, the Lion won't leave my Squirrel Slippers (with Squirrel Tails) alone. The shoes are on my feet when he is trying to rip them off and the Trainer won't pull him away from me - so we end up fighting over my Squirrel slippers me and a Lion? Yes - Strange considering I don't really have Squirrel Slippers and me playing tug a war with a Lion over a pair of slippers?
The Lion Trainer finally puts a collar and leash on his lion and then the lion calms down and behaves for him. But I'm going to be late for my next class because it starts in 30 minutes and I still have to get from York to Harrisburg. And my Squirrel skin slippers are wet and covered in Lion drool.
So as I start walking across campus again - headed for my car in the parking lot, most of the people are garbed in Pirate garb and a few in RenFaire garb. And this is all perfectly normal in my dream - go figure. So anyway, a girl stops me and is asking for suggestions on how to improve her Pirate outfit and I'm explaining how a good corset or bodice would help and where to buy one at the MD Renaissance Faire.
Good Morning!

Date: 2004-12-16 10:23 am (UTC)as for the colonial garb, maybe you feel more at home in that than regular clothing and feel it's easier to be approached by strangers wearing garb.
