So which couple is more married? Which is more a family?

The couple that have a child (children) together, live together under the same roof and raise their child (children) together and are in a monogamous relationship.

Or

The couple that is legally married, have a child (children) together, but the husband lives in his own apartment because he needs the space, and has been know to have a girlfriend other than his wife.
