still sick at our house

thought she was getting better - no fever, no vomiting
on Monday. I went to work on Tues. and sent her to
daycare. When I picked her up she was quite warm and
coughing. Got home and she had a fever of 102 again.

Took her to the doctor's Wed am - a double ear infection
- poor thing. So she is on antibiotics, and I am to use
the nebulizor if her cough acts up, but it has actually
been much better since then.

We've been home two days now sleeping tons. And I of
course now have everything she has (except the ear infection)
- so I feel so crap & so exhausted - miserable with this
cold. But she is almost back to normal today now that she's
been on the antibiotics 24 hrs.

So anyway missed Mon, Wed, Thu off work so far - don't
know if hubby might stay home with her tomorrow or if I'm
feeling crapy I might just take tomorrow off to.

Anyway, we had a vacation scheduled Thu thru Sun that
we were to go away to the mountains to a ski resort with
friends. Had to cancel so we could stay home sick. Still
taking days off work but not to have fun - no! - just to
be miserable (whine whine whine)...

The only good thing out of all this when we went to the
dr, pharmacy, and grocery store - I got her a nice
basket for Easter and things to fill it up. So her
Easter basket is made and hid away.

And I'm caught up on laundry, and have scrubbed our bathroom
quite clean. Now I think I'll sort thru a pile of mail the
size of Mt. Everest during her nap this afternoon.

Hopefully we be well by Monday...
