Got together with friends Friday night for a BBQ at one couples house. It was our "web crew" friends aka geek friends. We were all childless professionals just a few years ago. Friday night there were 4 couples (mid 30s to early 40s), with 3 of their siblings, and 5 kids ages 3 years to 3 weeks old. The kids - Kieran (sp?) 3 years old, our Magali at 16 months, Benjamin at 11 mos., Kylie at 9 mos., and Alexandra at 3 weeks. Just amazing - watching all the little ones run/walk/crawl/wiggle around. Also funny that we are all pro-creating so close to the same time. Just hoards of these little ones. But good that we have other couples with little ones close to the same age as ours to hang with. And we were reflecting that when our parents were our age we were already in our teens or twenties. hmmmm.....

Sunday night had friends over to our house. A couple that has a son a month and 1/2 younger than our daughter. Our neighbor also stopped by with his daughter who is 3 weeks older than ours. Again lots of little ones running around, weird.... but fun and amazing all at the same time.
