Easter weekend - Part II
Apr. 13th, 2004 10:58 amUnfortunately hubby had to work Saturday. But me and the rugrat had a good day at home - including a nice long 2 hour nap. Dropped her off at grandma's (hubby's moms) for the night. The first night she spent away from us.
We were originally planning on going to a friend's Easter Eve party, they have every year. Big "HUGE" bonfire - burning Xmas trees - eating Knockwurst and Kraut - very German tradition. But with hubby working till late and our friend's party over an hour away, we decided to stay local instead.
Seamus Kennedy was performing at Mick O'Sheas in Baltimore and only a $5 cover charge. His perfomance started at 8:00, we didn't get there till 8:45 but got a great table, had a wonderful dinner. I had the Bangers and Mash. I also drank a beer - which is rare for me. And it was smooth and wonderful and a nice heavy beer and I got quite silly off of "ONE". But a wonderful "adult" evening without the kid.
