Easter weekend - part I

dreamaastridGood Friday - daycare was closed so my parents watched Baby M for the day. Driving to work with no kid in the car - strange? and once I got off work (they let us go early for the holiday) I even stopped and shopped a few places on the way home.
Without the kid - I went by Ollie's (good stuff cheap) and got a bunch of kid's books - for Magali, and other friend's kids. They even had the coolest Fisher Price "Rennaissance" and "Pirate" board books with pop-ups. And I went to the pet store to get the bday boys toys. Lip and Orange our grey tabbies were 4 on Friday, so they got some more mice and balls and things to tear up. And even the grocery store - amazing how much I can get done without her along.
And Friday night the hubby got to go out to Ellicott City to see some friends we don't see very often to celebrate a bday and had a wonderful time.
