Move across the hall
Mar. 22nd, 2004 03:33 pmBabyM started in the one-year old room today. She cried when I dropped her off - and normally didn't when I dropped her off in the infant room.
Visited at lunch time and she was doing great, playing, reading books, painting, etc. But she cried again when I left.
I know she'll do fine, but it is strange seeing her move up with the "big girls"

Date: 2004-03-22 01:01 pm (UTC)The worst thing I ever saw a parent do, is bring the kid kicking and screaming to the sitters (this was at church, when we did sitting rotations with our kids) and then sneak away when they got busy and distracted: it set the kids up to always be wondering if/when Mom and Dad were going to disappear: they got more and more clingy. Just because the parents didn't want to endure the kids crying when they left.
