Just had to share
Mar. 3rd, 2004 04:25 pmAt the daycare they gave me a date for when Magali moves up to the 1 yr old room: March 22nd. She's 14 mos. old and still in the infant room because the 1 yr old room is full until one of the kids in the 1yr room move up to the 2yr. room, and so on.
Anyway, she visits the 1 yr old room whenever they have space (because someone is out for the day) and she got to visit the 1 yr old room today. And this was just too cute to not tell you. I dropped her off at the infant room. She was in the infant room standing at the babygate in the doorway because I was leaving, and waving bye-bye to me.
Then the 1 yr olds came down the hallway from another classroom, to go into their room (the 1 year old room is straight across the hall from the infant room). They were one child short today so there was room for Magali to visit in the one year room today. Well, they opened the babygate for her to go across the hall. She ran right by me (I was still in the hallway), and into the 1 yr old room with all her little friends.
She was happy and smiley and giggly and following Sara, Alyssa, Rhiannon, and Katie trying to keep up with them. (these are girls just a few weeks/months older that have moved across from the infant room to the 1 yr old room w/in the past 4 months or so) She did turn around and smile at me, but was much too happy to be with the "big girls" to give me more than a smile. It was just too cute.
