Gas Price observation

It was $2.46 before Katrina, was up to $3.39 during the panic week, and is now back to $2.77 for regular gas.
I even found a place near my work that was only $2.99 for premium though regular and midgrade were $2.85 & $2.95
In MD -
Near my house, as of this morning - it was still just over $3.00 for regular... but not the $3.50+ prices of two weeks ago...
