What a racket at work today...

Roofers working on ripping off old roof today. So loud. Huge vacuum thingy with very loud sucking noise, like super vacuum cleaner. Lots of banging and crashing and smashing sounds on the roof. The occasion sounds of co-workers screaming when crap is falling on their desks (dirt/dust/etc.). Thinking maybe I should cover my cube with a tarp? This week is gonna suck!

Hope they are re-tarring next week when I’m not here. Otherwise the smell will kill me.

Yeah, I've worked at places that had that happen. Pending on the size of the building, I've seen them hang around for like a week or two. It sucks, and the smell is horrid.
