since I have a limp body on my lap sleeping, I've
uploaded some pics to share:

sledding are from Sat., and megablocks are from yesterday

Sat morning went well, my parents came to visit and we
took Baby M sledding and she was in an excellent mood.
Then we put her down for her nap. And since then:

She is very poorly - high fever since Sat. afternoon,
vomiting all night Sat. - went thru 4 sets of sheets in
her crib (laundry, laundry, laundry), had to steam clean
the carpet beside her bed and a midnight bath for her
even.

After her first explosion Sat night got out a tray from
when I was in the hospital (when I had her) - a kinda
little plastic bucket thing to get sick in and told her
she could get sick in the bucket. So the next time she
got ill she asked her daddy for her bucket and we were both
amazed she understood and asked for it and then got sick
in the bucket with her daddy holding her hair back rather than
all over her bed (well mostly her aim is not perfect).

She didn't get sick all day yesterday, but barely ate
but a piece of toast and a breadstick. But I did get
pedialyte juice in her all day. She's been alternating
between acting very normal and a super clingy, cuddly
thing. Last night she woke every hour or so whimpering
and wanting a drink but not vomiting (touch wood).

Will be calling off work today, and hope she is better
soon. She is currently sleeping on my shoulder while I
type one handed.

BTW: Since we are supposed to get another 6 in. of snow today
- so glad I don't have to drive in it, but so not happy
she is so ill.

Oh, I remember the days of carrying around a vomiting baby. Hope she's turned the corner and is getting better. Remember, if she's getting enough pedialyte, then you can also suppliment the fluid intake by offering popsicles: they've got additional flavors and are essentially sugar water that will help keep her hydrated, and they go down slowly so are less likely to trigger the vomit reflex.

From baby hydration to the origins of the necktie: is there anything you don't know about? You go! And yes, she's doing much better today.

How to hold down a long term paying job.
(That's a joke.)
