TV was delivered 7:30am Saturday. We figured out how to hook up the cable & DVD player - and program the remotes, however, the old old VCR we have doesn't seem to function properly with the new TV. Works fine with the old TV but with the new one we get funky lines that scroll down the screen - so don't know if we need a new VCR to work with the new TV. Anyone familiar with why this is? And yes, I tried hooking it up three different ways, with four different sets of cables and all had the same funky picture problem.

But it fits perfectly, in the space we have - YEAH! And movies look really nice on it. And we are noticing so much detail we didn't before. Watched Harry Potter I again (until I fell asleep) and noticed little things sitting on shelves and the like that we never noticed or could see on the old little TV. The only scary thing is colors are really bright especially anything that is animated. Almost like the difference going from B&W to a color TV, that is the difference from our old color TV to this new one - YIKES!!

Had a friend of Baby M coming over Sat evening with her parents to visit. They never showed, didn't know why until this morning.

Well her mom, accidently deleted the email with our phone number/directions/address. Tried directory assistance, drove around Reisterstown from what she could remember, etc. etc. and couldn't find us. Sent me an email to my work Sat afternoon asking for phone number/directions/address - which I got this morning. And sent me another email Sunday apologizing that she Oops'd and what happened.

Kinda funny today though, Sat. we wondered if they had something bad happen or just blew us off. Feel bad that she couldn't find us, but we are gonna try again another weekend to get the Little Ones together to play and the adult couples together for dinner. And I now have her home and cell phone numbers so if she gets lost or something I can call her. I had no way to reach her over the weekend, 'cause all I had was her work phone number which did me no good on Sat night...

well these things happen..

Well we went to the Casual Corner Petites Annex in White Marsh...Damn their stuff just fits me great. I guess I'm stuck with doing my annual clothing run or every other year shopping expedition at that store. If they ever go under, I'll just be screwed.

Anyway, got 2 pair of pants for work - plain black work pants and brown fake-suede pants that are soooo comfy and a black skirt. Also got a black suit coat, socks (with no holes or anything - I know little things make me happy), and 7 tops/sweaters of various styles and colors (white, offwhite, green, black, black& beige patterned, black & beige & white & red striped, and even a pale purple but nothing PINK!! - Yeah!) . Last time I was there was after I returned to work from maternity leave 2 years ago, I got about the same amount of stuff. Just nice conservative work clothes.

Went with the hubby to Sears also and he got a few new pairs of jeans and finally we went to Ikea. Ikea always has the neatest stuff. But this time we were on a mission, we just wanted bins that would fit in our bookshelves to contain the kid stuff - well the explosion of kid stuff especially since Xmas and her bday. We got 5 clear plastic acrylic bins (13*13) that fit perfectly in the bookshelf (which is also Ikea but bought 4+ years ago). And the family room is so much better - containing the LOs tons of toys - but think I may send the hubby back for just 2 or 3 more bins. We now have a bin for vehicles, one for baby dolls, one for Mega blocks, one for hats, and one for some of her electronic stuff. Ani would be proud.
