Just ordered her a Personalized Name Clock and Personalized Switchplate for her room. So her hard to find name will be on her clock and her switchplate along with pastel colored stars (which will match her room perfectly).

But she's a cutie and her room is so fairy tale - and now it'll be personalized too.

the kid and the dog

I got the dog over the weekend (my puppy visitation). He's 12 now so getting (well has gotten) really slow, hard to stand, wobbly on linoleum, very very slow on any steps, etc. Hadn't had him for a visit in a few months. But the daughter and the dog got along fabulously over the weekend. Just one bark to put her in line when she was a little rough with him - she cried, then respected him and was gentle to the doggy the rest of the weekend. Even fed him a cheerio or two from her highchair and giggled when he took it from her.

By the time I drove him home, she was in her car seat in the back and he was sprawled across the back seat with his head in her lap most of the drive home. too cute!!

and I think she said "doggy" yesterday, not sure but that is what it sounded like...

On the run - borrowed from Ani

1. You are suddenly on the run and have to change your appearance radically… you have 24 hours - what do you do to make yourself look different? Cut my hair in a different style and get it colored anything but my natural red. And colored contact lenses - that's a good idea.

2. You need to relocate to a new city and assume a brand new identity... with the skills, education and life experience that you have now, what will you do for a living? If I can't do what I do now "computers" - I'm thinking retail sales of some sort - besides computers the only thing else I've ever done is work as a bike courier one summer (by day) and as a Tupperware Lady (by night)

3. You are longing for social contact with other humans, where will you go in your new environment to meet people? hang out with co-workers or do some kind of volunteer work
