Went shopping with my best friend last night. She bought herself a wedding gown and picked out a bridesmaid dress for me. The first dress she put on fit perfect and looked amazing on her. And the only thing I begged "Please don't make me wear pink". And being the sweetie she is, it came down to celedon (think green celery), and periwinkle. And she thought I looked better in the celedon (btw - who names these colors?) and it's a really pretty little dress.

So her dress and mine are ordered. Woo Hoo! She just needs to get dresses for her daughter and her future step-daughters (3 of them). She's thinking of getting theirs in periwinkle or celedon. And she also asked about Baby M. So my little one may be in it too. Most of the wee one dresses are white or ivory and you just get a sash in a matching color.

Anyway that was a lot of fun! But I'm surprised at how many of the dresses are too much like sausage casing - he he. There were some very definite "NOs" that we laughed about.

called me today.

The house next door - until there is visible exterior violations there is nothing they can/will do, since they can NOT legally enter the premise. So we have to wait until the exterior walls of the house are crumbling, windows are broken or wildlife is living in the deserted home before anything can legally be done by the county.

We can however complain if the grass does not get cut and they can legally enforce that.

Dave is on the HOA board (though not president), and if they aren't violating the law or any specific HOA rule in the bylaw, the HOA management company is NOT going to have any legal proceedings against the homeowner, either. So basically you can do whatever you want to the inside of your home, ie. flood it, trash it, etc...

However, if they were raising pigeons or potbellied pigs, that would be against the bylaws and then something could be done by the HOA lawyers.

So in the meantime we live beside a house that the inside has been flooded and pretty much destroyed...
