Is March over yet? I think I've missed most of it...
Finally back at work, since daycare called Friday to come pick Baby M up since she wasn't feeling well. I took her to the doctor on Friday, was told it was a virus and to ride it out - oh fun!
She was home most the weekend with a high fever (104+) with hubby. I had a stays class I was signed up for, if it wasn't prepaid I don't think I would have gone. The class was wonderful and three of us just need to finish our edges and get together and have a grommeting party.
But my poor little girl was just so miserable. Hubby called the doctor worried about her temperature. Poor little girl. He had to give her several room temperature baths just to keep her fever down, since the meds weren't really helping much.
But by Monday, she had given it to me. I was so sick! Had my parents come over and watch her, her temp had returned to normal but I couldn't even function. Would crawl out of bed to the bathroom to get sick and back into bed to sleep some more.
We went to the doctor on Wed. her ear infection didn't completely clear up since we got sick all over again. So she's back on antibiotics for her ears, and I have a sinus infection. So flu, fever, cold, infections, and misery have just about run their course here at our home.
Of course, my work loves me (ha ha) since I've only been in 5 days this month (including today), because all Baby M and I have been is sick (deathly ill it seems) all month.
And hubby has been working massive overtime all week, so we haven't seen him much at all. He's been getting home at night after Baby M has been put to bed. So really a crappy week all around for us all.
Cheer me up - being sick is really making me depressed! The only thing I can smile about a little is that I've lost 7 lbs. since Friday. But not the most comfortable way to do it - the "New Flu Puke Diet" - LOL...
