Roads my way are flooding
Feb. 6th, 2004 12:23 pmSlow down! and if it looks deep drive around another way.
Had to make at least one detour on the way to work with the flooding. I know - common sense comments, but so many people lack any common sense now days. So I'll watch them stall, get stuck or float away - smucks. Maybe a common sense test to get a driver's license is required?

Lets see Dave and I each took 1/2 days back on the 22nd and 23rd for sick baby with bad cold and ear infection. I took the day off yesterday to get her rechecked since she used up all the antibiotics, was again running a fever and tugging on the ear.
Recheck results - left ear is not all the way clear yet. New prescription for a different antibiotic. Still have snot monkey to contend with. Hope this all gets better soon.
Hubby and I are getting over colds, the little one has given us. And she goes from one cold to another - maybe one good week a month. People keep telling me it will get better the older she gets. When will that be?

I suck as an employee lately
Feb. 6th, 2004 12:32 pmLets see more sick days last year then I have had my entire life.
So far this year - sick time 18hrs for sick baby with ear infections.
Vacation 6 hrs for snow/ice related weather delays.
Trying to work from home as much as possible to make up time.
Just need to work on estimate for Phase II of the returns rewrite, and do report updates to the Cubiscan project. Maybe I can work some this weekend? If the hubby can watch the baby?
